A Single Impression Or A Lasting One

First impressions count, so are you sure you’re giving the right one to those who click your link? I suspect most of the website owners spend too much time and money to build backlinks for their website. Due to time constraints and lack of scrutiny over the webpage, the web owners point their links to the first page of the website whenever someone clicks.
Step back and see it through your customers’ eyes. A landing page is a page within a website which is being designed to promote a service or product. But, the most common mistake we commit while developing links for our website is linking it to the pages which are very extensive and not specific as the anchor text shows.

An anchor text of a link implicates a call- to- action for the visitor. However, our anchor text is only as good as the landing page that supports it. If the landing page is not built according to and around the anchor text, chances of losing traffic will be high.
For instance, Suppose, I have a website that provides SEM service which includes SEO, link building, and PPC. Website has backlinks with anchor text Link building services. The backlink points to the home page where we have given all the information of website. However, visitor who clicks the link would be interested to know our link building service and packages. To know more about our link building service the visitor has to explore our website and visit our link building service page.

The key benefit of choosing a landing page for link building is to examine the information you provide, providing it on selective basis and make it relevant with anchor text. Developing links with multiple variations of landing page with their respective anchor texts must look natural. Also, it will increase the link popularity of all webpages of a website.
